These are the humans (kind of) who run the show. Ziya Moonbeam is a faery-finder extraordinare, and Lady Elppy just wants to share her knowledge and resources with everyone.

Likes: Laying in sunbeams, belly rubs, canned cat food, literally anything that crinkles.

Dislikes: Chat writing, figurative use of “literally”, people who can’t tell the difference between “you’re” and “your”.

Ziya has been living amongst faeries since she was a baby.  She has more than likely eaten one or two faeries in bug form.  Her human Momma always says that her top whiskers look like faery antennae.  Ziya chases faeries every now and again, and loves to eat any bugs that fly into the house. She contributes her positive energy by hunkering down on her human Momma’s lap, purring, and demanding snuggles by rubbing her cold, wet nose on her human Momma’s elbows. She always alerts the household whenever she sees a faery.

Likes: Pineapples, faeries, cats, sunshine. Also birthday cakes, nature walks, Oxford commas, and coffee.

Dislikes: Losing important items, litter, cold feet/fingers, lights that blot out the stars at night.

Lady Elppy has been interested in spirituality and different practices for more than half her life. She has lived with faeries for more than ten years and can sometimes wrangle her fae friends into communicating, though it’s harder than it seems! She loves writing and talking about faeries, which has led to the creation of this blog.

Start Learning About Faeries

Below are some great beginner blog posts to begin your journey with faeries.

“If you’re going to work with faeries, you have to be aware of the yearly rhythms in nature. These high holidays are also faery holidays! This cycle traces the year from cultivation through harvest, life through death. Humans have celebrated them in one form or another as long as we can remember.”

“These are some of the stones and crystals that I have found attract faeries. Not all faeries are the same. Some will like only one particular kind of crystal, some won’t like it at all. I listen to my fae friends when I go looking for crystals and come back with things that they really like.”

” Elementals are the basic unit of fae. They come in four distinct groups; earth, air, fire and water. These were the elements back in classical Greek and Roman times. Chances are, if you have worked with fae before, you know a little bit about their base elements. “

Don’t Take it too Seriously . . . this is a Blog about Faeries

Do you believe in faeries? Me too! Let’s celebrate together and have lots of fun, just like our fae friends would.

Are you skeptical? That’s all right, I get it. It’s not my job to convince you, so please don’t try to convince me I’m wrong.
